Nancy J (Bailey) Mason

Nancy J. Mason, age 79, of Perry, passed away at her son's residence May 20, 2025. She was born February 19, 1946, in Uhrichsville, OH. to Loretta (Ferrell) and Herbert Bailey.  

She enjoyed bowling, taking walks at parks, doing her puzzle books and going for drives in the country. She was loved by many and affectionately known as G-baby.  

Nancy worked at CVS as a pharmacy tech for many years before retiring.  

She is survived by her husband, Fred Mason, children; William (Kim) Herron of Perry, Laura Swartzfager of Titusville, Fl., and Loretta Hunt of Painesville,  

Stepchildren, Fred (Emila) Mason II of Perry, Roberta (Kurt) Varner of Geneva, and Tina Schaffer of Lakeland Fl. 

Twelve grandchildren, Twenty-two great grandchildren; and her brother, Glenn Bailey of Mentor, and many nieces and nephews.  

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, previous husband, Doug Hakli;  son, Eugene Herron; sister, Millie Bailey; brother, Charles Bailey and grandson, David Herron

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue Painesville, OH.  Services will be held 11:00 AM. Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Spear- Mulqueeny.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
