Nancy A. (Saxe) Mellen

Nancy A. Mellen, age 84, passed away November 29, 2023, in Madison, Ohio.  She was born July 9, 1939, in Painesville to Merland B, and Alverna J. (Andrews) Saxe.

Nancy was employed as a cook for Homestead I Nursing Home for many years.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Timothy (Pamela) Mellen of Madison, Richard (Carol) Mellen of Florida, and Thomas Mellen of Lakewood; brother, Edward (Mary) Saxe of Painesville; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell E. Mellen in 1996; her parents; sons, John Mellen and Daniel Mellen; brother, Merlin Saxe; sisters, Linda Wickman, Donna Ritts, Grace Naples, and Jane Medvec.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
