Painesville – Patricia Nagy, 89, passed away on March 4th. A beloved mother, aunt, friend, baker and seamstress. Patricia was a creative and beautiful soul and lived a life full of faith and love. Her faith was central to her life, and she was passionate about it.
Patricia was born January 29, 1936, in Painesville, OH to Harry Lockwood and Esther (Campbell) Lockwood.
In her early years she longed to be a fashion designer and kept her love of sewing all her life. She also loved to bake and excelled at making cakes. For many years she would make wedding, and various other cakes for friends and family.
For many years she worked at 3M until she retired from there. In retirement she continued with indulging her creative abilities by taking part in various arts and crafts.Pat’s biggest joy was spending time with family and friends as well as her cats. She was an avid animal lover. She also loved music, musicals, and crafting.
Patricia is survived by her two sons, Steve (Joan) Nagy and Adam (Tracy) Nagy, as well as her brother, Lee (Sharon) Lockwood.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Nagy in 2011; her brother David Lockwood; her sister Penny Reigle, and her parents Harry and Esther Lockwood.
Patricia was a caring, loving, compassionate, strong and fun-loving daughter, wife and mother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends will be received Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at SpearMulqueny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, OH 44077. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 12th at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
