Patricia A. (Girados) Welch

Patricia A. Welch, age 86, passed away November 28, 2022, at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.  She was born March 15, 1936, in Fairport Harbor to John and Anna S. (Karimchak) Girados.

Patricia lived in the Painesville/Fairport area for over 80 years.   She worked as a lunch lady for the Riverside School District for many years.   She also worked at Mr. Wiggs and the Miscellaneous Barn.

Patricia enjoyed playing Bingo, collecting jewelry, gardening, spending time with her favorite nieces and grandchildren and loving her kitties.  She enjoyed feeding the birds and shared countless stories about all the rabbits, squirrels, and deer visits to her feeders.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Kathleen S. (James) Hatter and Christine Welch; son, Cary S. Welch; grandchildren, Alexandra J. Welch, Audrey R. (David) Stadnik and Emily (Jake) Spangler; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Louise Welch; sister, Irene Ignat; brother, John F. Girados and her parents.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 316 Fifth Street, Fairport Harbor, Ohio.  Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Special thanks to the residents, nurses, Nurse Sandra, and all of the staff at Salida Woods and Hospice of the Western Reserve, for their care, patience, and kindness throughout her stay.
