Phyllis A. Crosby, age 90, passed away October 7th, 2025, at her residence in Concord, OH. She was born August 29, 1935, in Painesville to Frank and Anna (Elia) Crawford.
Phyllis worked as a clerk at Sears for many years and was a homemaker for her family.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her husband George. In her younger years she enjoyed roller-skating which is how she met her husband.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Crosby; children; Elaine Metzung and Vincent G. Crosby; sister, Juanita Toth.
She is survived by her children, Ed (Cindy) Crosby, Joe (Danita) Crosby, Danny Crosby, Jennifer (Gary) Tucker, Linda Mozingo, and Frank (Angelina) Crosby; sister, Margaret Mackey; grandchildren; Christopher Crosby, Caitlyn (Benny) Korinek, Mike (Deb) Crosby, Charlotte (Trent) Melcher, Crystal DeRose, John (Alexia) Crosby, Cheryl (Zane) Tyler, Matt (Bri) Metzung, Paul Metzung, Jim(Kaleen) Metzung, Sam (Nai) Magid, Hannah Magid, Max (Kree) Magid, Jonah Magid, Ben Magid, Neal Berberich, Adam Berberich, Kim Latch; great-grandchildren, Brantley, Brayden, Brinley, Noah, Landon, Alaina, Sophia, Mattie, Brooklyn, Gavin, Chloe, Corbin, Adalynn, Joe, Riley, Samantha, Cassandra, Jason, Ryliegh, Daniel, Chrism, Seraphina, Caius; as well as one great-great grandchild, Maddie.
Calling hours will be held 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday October 12th, 2025, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, OH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held October 13th, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesville, 242 North State Street, Painesville, OH 44077.
