Raymond Loyd Young

Raymond Loyd Young, age 69, passed away peacefully, September 24, 2025, at his residence in Madison, surrounded by his family.  He was born September 18, 1956, in Lake County to Allan Daniels and Hallie (Robinette) Daniels.

Raymond was a construction worker, carpet installer and carpenter.  He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, canoeing and gardening.  He especially loved spending time with his family, which was the most important thing to him.

Raymond is survived by his life partner and mother of his children, Deborah New; daughters, Cheryle Filkins, Heather Young, Danielle Young, Patty West and Lisa Quirk; son, Eric Vincent; sister, Shirley Anderson; brother, Dick Vincent; grandchildren, Cassandra and David Filkins, Selena and Shawn Hutton, Hunter Walker, Nick Young, Michael and Alexis Spring; seven great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday, September 29, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will immediately follow at 8:00 PM.
