Raymond T. Miller, age 93, passed away December 3, 2025, at Brookdale Manor in Mentor, Ohio. He was born December 1, 1932, in Painesville to Joseph F. Miller and Elizabeth (Ondus) Miller.
Ray worked as an inspector for the Ohio Rubber Company in Willoughby for over 40 years.
Ray served in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesville and a former member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Painesville, the VFW, and Mentor Senior Center. He also delivered Meals on Wheels in Willoughby and Wickliffe.
Ray enjoyed bowling, the racetrack and playing bingo.
Ray is survived by his nephews, John (Nancy) Alden, James (Sandy) Alden, Chris (Janet) Hammett, and Mike (Iderlyn) Hammett; nieces, Marianne Alden and Judy (Dan) Plageman; and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice (Vassallo) Miller in 1987; sisters, Evelyn Hammett and Florence Alden; niece, Susie Hammett; and his parents.
Family and friends will be received 3:00 – 5:00 PM, Friday, December 5, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, Ohio.
