Richard A. Clack, of Painesville, Ohio, passed away August 9, 2022, at the Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He was 69 years old. He was born October 7, 1952, in Willoughby, Ohio to Opal (Bomgardner) and Raymond Clack.
Rich graduated from Mentor High School, attended Lakeland Community College, and received a degree in mechanical engineering from Cleveland State University. Rich was employed at the G. E. Willoughby Quartz Plant (Momentive) for many years and retired from the McDonald Corporation, in Willoughby, Ohio.
Rich was a quiet family man who excelled at home and auto repairs. He had to have a project in the works at all times. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and anything to do with race cars. His favorite place on earth was his home in Mayville, NY on Chautauqua Lake.
He is mourned by his wife of 40 years, Adeline (Hritz) Clack and his children, Stephanie Clack (Nick Villani) and Peter Clack, of Painesville. His siblings, Theresa (Glenn) Fagin, Raymond and Christine also survive him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At Rich’s request, there will be no services.
