Robert L. “B.J.” Trisket Jr., age 41, passed away on November 30, 2021, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. He was born April 28, 1980, in Painesville to Robert L. and Debra L. (Nelson) Trisket.
Robert, who was fondly called “B.J.”, was a 1998 graduate of Riverside High School. He was employed as a machine operator at Royal Plastics for 3 ½ years. Previously, he worked as a correction officer for 17 years at the Lake County Jail.
He loved America, family gatherings, especially at Thanksgiving, and enjoyed good food. He cared about everyone and was known as a 'teddy bear'. B.J.'s favorite hobbies were fishing, golfing, gaming, and Marvel comics. He was also a loyal fan of both the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
B.J. is survived by his parents in Painesville. He is also survived by his sister Holly (Todd) Hone and nephew Tim Hone of Celina, OH; his 'brother-from-another-mother' Bryan Helwig of Kirtland; his maternal grandmother, Norma “Pizzino” Nelson of Ashtabula; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and 2nd cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Everett Nelson, of McMinnville, TN; paternal grandparents, Donald and Donna Trisket of Perry; and an aunt, Cindy Bramer, of Perry.
Memorial Services for B.J. will be held at a later date.
