Roger H. Meister, age 70, passed away August 26, 2021, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. He was born February 6, 1951, in Cleveland to Richard and Martha (Summers) Meister.
Roger served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a proud union machinist for 23 years with Worthington Precision Metals. He also worked at Parker Hannifin for many years. Roger was an avid coin collector, enjoyed classic cars, and loved showing at car shows. He also enjoyed target practice at the gun range. His generosity and humor touched everyone he met.
Roger is survived by his wife, Patricia (Molnar) Meister; sons, Matt (Emily) Meister, Steven Meister and Wayne Penhollow; daughters, Teri (Rick) Bruner, Rodna (Scott) Thomas and Rita (Justin) Hennigan; brother, Randy (Linda) Meister; sisters, Rosemary (Jim) Potter and Marie Pinkston; brother-in-law, Ken Ellis; sister-in-law, Cindy Meister; grandchildren Ian and Virginie; and 11 step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Margaret Ellis; brothers, Ronald Meister, Richard Meister Jr. and Philip G. Meister.
Funeral Services for Roger will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday September 1, 2021, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Friends will be received from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Wednesday September 1 2021, before the service, at the funeral home.
