Rosa E. (Schuldheis) Rideout

Rosa E. Rideout, age 88, passed away August 8, 2021, surrounded by her family, at her residence in Perry.   She was born, February 13, 1933, in Cleveland to Joseph and Emilie (Grom) Schuldheis.

Rosa was a founding member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church.  She wintered in Florida and loved to travel.  She also enjoyed crocheting, camping, antiquing and polka dancing.

Rosa is survived by her sons, Robert E. (Cheryl) Rideout Jr, and Richard (Mary Ann) Rideout; grandchildren, Robert (Erin) Rideout III, Marcus (Karen) Rideout, Cassie (Eric) Schaef, Timothy (Anna) Rideout, Ashley Rideout, Ryan West, and Lauren (Bernie) Michalak; thirteen great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, June Fryer.  She also leaves her beloved caregivers and her cat, Sammee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Rideout Sr. in 2015; daughter, Linda Anne West; parents; brother, Joseph K. Schuldheis; daughter-in-law, Susan Rideout; and brother-in-law, Gaylord Fryer.

Mass of Christian Burial for Rosa will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 12, 2021, at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, Ohio.  Family and friends will be received from 4:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
