Sandra M. (Shaw) Barks

Sandra M. Barks, age 76, passed away July 1, 2025, at her residence in Fairport Harbor.  She was born October 21, 1948, in Painesville to Harvey Shaw and Florence (Lepisto) Shaw. 

Sandra worked for First Energy for 20 years. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family, her dog “Satchmo”, reading, and watching TV dramas.

Sandra is survived by her sisters, Elissa (Andy) Molnar, Laurel (Bill) Jerin, Frances Berus, Mary (Ray) Kulma; brothers, Michael (Diana) Shaw, Clair “Ozzie” (Karynn) Shaw, Patrick (Nicole) Shaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest “Mickey” Barks in 2008; brothers, Corby Shaw and Harvey Shaw Jr.; sisters, Coletta Stover, Susan Sevits, Maureen Luikart; and her parents.

Family and friends will be received 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio 44077.   Funeral Services will be at 9:00 AM, Monday, July 7th at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
