Shawn Pridemore Obituary

Shawn B. Pridemore age 45 of Painesville Township passed away August 31, 2021 at his home. He was The son of Gary Lee and Bobbie (Yates) Pridemore born on June 1, 1976, in Painesville.

Shawn served in the United States Marine Corps from February 5th, 1996 - February 4th, 2000. He served as a Tow Gunner (0352)  and was deployed overseas in Kosovo, where he was awarded a Combat Action Ribbon. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, and 4 wheeling in his childhood and continued those interests with his children. Shawn loved his kids, family, and military brothers. His greatest joys came from his children and grandchild. He was always willing to help out those in need.

He is survived by his children, Ryley Pridemore, Greyson Pridemore, Alyssa Pridemore, Kailyn Pridemore, Sierra Pridemore, and Teagan Pridemore, grandchild, Colton Pridemore, mother, Bobbie (Yates) Pridemore, brothers, Shane Pridemore, Gary Lee Pridemore, Terry Michael Pridemore, Gary Michael Pridemore, Joseph Allen Pridemore, Roger Barnes, Sisters Cheryl Quinones, Rita Pridemore and Debbie Barnes

Family and friends may call 4- 6:30 PM Saturday September 11, 2021 at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral

Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. (casual dress requested).

Military honors will be given at 6:30 PM followed by a time of sharing by family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Shawn’s name to Alyssa Pridemore to go towards the children's future.
