Sheree L. Shook

Sheree L. Shook, age 70, passed away June 5, 2025, at her residence in Painesville.  She was born January 9, 1955, in Mineral Wells, Texas to Earl and Claudette Rottmann.

Sheree served in the United States Air Force and worked for the Riverside School System as a special needs aide.   She enjoyed painting, drawing, and doing mixed media art making beautifully crafted greeting cards. Sheree was a shining light in her community offering help to others whenever needed. She was a thoughtful, kind, and caring individual that often put others needs before her own. Even on the darkest days she always had a positive attitude towards life. She did her best to make sure her loved ones were well taken care of and treated with respect. She was very devoted to her Catholic faith and much of her free time was spent helping out her church on the Arts and Environment committee.

Sheree is survived by her husband, James Timothy “Tim” Shook; son, John (Jennifer) Shook; sisters, Brande (Scott) Danley and Taunee Rottmann.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 523 Plum St. in Fairport Harbor.
