Susan (Onorato) Galeazzo

Susan Galeazzo, age 81, passed away July 5, 2025, in Mentor, Ohio.  She was born January 31, 1944, in Erie, Pennsylvania to Clarence Onorato and Jay (Petacchi) Onorato.

Susan was a hairdresser in Erie for a number of years.    She also spent time assisting her husband in their business, GALCO Sales

At the Painseville Elks club, Susan was active in the redecoration of the dining areas and was a member of the 549 Players.  One of her most fulfilling projects was managing the 'Snowball Dinner Dance' for special needs people.

Susan enjoyed her leisure time traveling, playing golf with her friends, the "Golf Bags", playing Mah Jongg, attending bookclub and tinkering in her garden. She especially loved cooking for her grandsons.

Susan is survived by her husband, John Galeazzo; sister, Patricia (Larry) Waide; brother, Paul (Wendy) Onorato; grandchildren, Oliver Galeazzo, Evan Galeazzo, and Gavin Galeazzo; daughter-in-law, Kristen Galeazzo.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Mark Galeazzo in 2008 and Stephen Galeazzo in 2015; brothers, Edward Onorato and Scrappy Onorato his wife Roselle and Susan's parents.

Private Funeral Services were held.
