Thelma Mae (Buckner) Wylie

Thelma Mae Wylie, age 88, passed away February 18, 2026, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.  She was born July 12, 1937, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, to Clark Buckner and Elizabeth (Grant) Buckner.

Thelma worked at the General Motors Corporation (GM) where she retired after over 32 years of service.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved playing cards with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her beloved cat, Simon.

Thelma is survived by her son, Carl Collins of Streetsboro; daughter-in-law, Susan Collins; grandchildren, Danielle Collins, Cody Collins, and Kelly Quinn; great-grandchildren, Halie Collins-Kimbro, Brennan Collins, Austin Collins, Jackson Collins, Lucy Collins, and Rylee Quinn; and great-great-grandchild, Logan Kimbro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Wylie; son, Charles “Chuck” Collins; granddaughter, Tiffany Collins; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Collins.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
