Thomas R. Molyneux, age 83, passed away July 12, 2024, at his residence in Geneva, Ohio. He was born February 17, 1941, in Painesville to Grover and Betty Jean (Cantrick) Molyneux.
Tom served in the United States Army. He was a machinist and worked for COE Manufacturing retiring in 2004.
Tom loved the complexity in simplicity. He was fascinated with old machines and how they worked. His trusty Gravely lawnmower. His little yellow Honda motorcycle and its accompanying yellow helmet. The freedom of riding the open road on two wheels. The sound of Thompson Raceway Park in the distance and all those runs down the 1/4-mile in his yellow Mustang. Target practice every Wednesday.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sandra (Hunley) Molyneux; step-sons, Terry (Kathy) Horner and Shane (Suzi) Horner; step-daughter, Monica (Nicholas) Frye; brother, David Molyneux.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jean Molyneux; brother, Richard Molyneux and his parents.
Friends will be received 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at Trumbull Cemetery in Geneva.
