Thomas Pietrowski

Thomas Pietrowski, age 73, passed away February 22, 2021 at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  He was born January 26, 1948 in Cleveland to Michael and Irene (Mikolajczyk) Pietrowski.

Thomas received his master’s degree from  Ohio University.  He  worked at University Hospitals as a lab manager for 8 years, also worked as a chromatographer for Waters Associates for 30 years.  Tom was a member of St. Mary Church in Painesville and Knights of Columbus Council No. 947.   He enjoyed golfing and gardening, and especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Thomas is survived by his wife Theresa (Guido) Pietrowski; daughters, Janet (Erik) Katko, Jacque (Anthony) Czerwinski; Jennifer (Eric) Cohagan and Jessica (Darin) Herrera; brother, David Pietrowski, sisters, Marcia (Donald) Holzer and Diane (Ralph) Desimone, sister-in-law, Nancy Pietrowski; grandchildren, Stephanie Parsons, Morgan Czerwinski, Skylar Czerwinski, Alexander Katko, Ryleigh Katko and Vance Cohagan.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Pietrowski and his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at St. Mary Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, OH.  Friends will be received from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, February 26th at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.
