Thomas R Pringey

Thomas R. Pringey, age 70, passed away December 26, 2024, in Geneva, Ohio.  He was born November 16, 1954, in Rockford, Illinois to Richard Pringey and Marian (Blomberg) Pringey.

Tom worked for Xact Spec Industries for many years, most recently part-time as he enjoyed his well-earned retirement.  He was a member of Calvary Fellowship Baptist Church.  Tom enjoyed watching Cleveland sports, golfing and reading, especially Clive Cussler novels. 

But most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Tom and his wife, Terri, were married for a wonderful 48 years and had 2 beautiful children. Tom’s pride and joy was his family, and he loved watching his kids grow up and flourish.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Terri (Melan) Pringey; daughter, Tori Pringey; son, Tim (Chelsea) Pringey; brothers, Robert (Beverly) Pringey, James (Janice) Pringey and John (Diana) Pringey; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Terri, Tori, Tim and Chelsea would like to recognize Terri’s sister, Tracy (Melan) Carnovale and her husband Jim Carnovale, along with their children and grandchildren: Meghan (Thomas) Blakeney and their child Hudson, Zach (Marissa) Carnovale, Lyndsey (Nick) Zarbo and their children Dawson and Ezra, and Nick (Stirling) Carnovale. The Carnovale’s unending love and support has meant so much to the Pringey family, who are forever grateful.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Tina Pringey (twin to Tori) in 1987; his parents, and his sister, Kathryn (Tim) Welk.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Calvary Fellowship Baptist Church on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 5:30 PM. A dinner will follow at the church. A private burial will be held later in 2025.
