Thorsten “Bo” Martin, age 52, passed away November 22, 2025, in Willoughby. He was born August 5, 1972, in Frankfurt, Germany to Irene (Reuel) Martin and Ronald T. Martin Sr.
Bo was a plant supervisor for Hose Master LLC. He enjoyed motorcycles, cooking for his family and friends, and entertaining.
Bo is survived by his Partner, Melinda Simmons, children, Thorsten Martin Jr., Penelope Martin and Wade Simmons; brothers, Eric Martin and Ronald (Janice) Martin; sister, Valerie (Kenny) Evans; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael M. Martin in 2024.
Thorsten “BO” Martin was a loving father, brother, and friend, who touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had an extraordinary gift for bringing people together.
His love for hosting family gatherings created a warm atmosphere that made everyone feel at home. Whether it was a holiday feast or a simple weekend barbecue, Bo always made sure everyone was having a good time. He cherished these moments with his family, and the time spent with his children, and instilling the importance of family.
Bo found great joy in watching and betting on football games with his brother. Those game days were filled with friendly rivalry, and shared memories that will forever be in the hearts of those who experienced them. Bo enjoyed supporting his boys in their sports and got a kick out of watching his baby girl cheer and dance to her TikToks.
Bo was more than just a family man; he was strength and a source of comfort for his friends and anyone that came into his life. His unwavering presence in our lives will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to guide us as we navigate the days ahead.
Family and friends will be received 2:00 – 6:00 PM, Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 1st at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
