William “Tee” Patrick (Bill) passed away at Heroes Harbor Hospice located inside the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland on April 15, 2021. He was 86 years old. Bill was born January 9, 1935 in McMinnville, Tennessee to George and Reese Patrick.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1953 through 1957 where he met his lifelong best friend, Bob Jacobs.   Sixty years later in 2017, Bill and Bob were privileged to accept an invitation to experience the Honor Flight. They were flown to Washington D.C. where they were honored by fellow servicemen at the Korean War Memorial. Both have said it was “one of the best days of their lives”.

He was employed by Fluid Controls and Worthington Precision Metals as a Master Toolmaker. Bill spent a large part of his career mentoring others who were interested in the trade.   After retiring, he worked for Grande Design Florists in Painesville delivering flowers to the hospitals, local churches and the community.

Bill loved sports, especially the Cleveland Indians.  He coached his daughter’s softball teams and bowled with his sons in father/son leagues. He enjoyed his time on the golf course with his best friend Bob. He was a parent leader for the YMCA Indian Guides and Indian Princesses.

Bill’s greatest love of all was the love he had for his family.  His grandchildren and his great grandchildren will miss their PawPaw dearly.

William is survived by his daughters, Barbara Borelli (Tom) and Sherri Bolander (Jeff), son Donald Patrick and his “baby sisters” Diane Jackson and Darlene Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Reese Patrick, wife Sylvia Patrick, sons Ralph “Andy” Cornell and William (Billy)Patrick II.  He was also preceded by siblings Clara Lee, Maxine Melton, George Patrick II, Carl Patrick and Gerald Patrick.
