Very sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Leo. He was a good man that I enjoyed seeing. Condolences from the Hug branch of the family.

The Werner family is saddened at the loss of Leo. He was a brother-in-law, uncle and friend to us all. We fondly remember Geri and Leo's time in Florida as "snow birds". Our condolences to the Scully family.

My husband and I have known Leo Scully for many years. He was a trustee in Concord Twp in a time when our township was growing by leaps and bounds, and we know for a fact that he worked very hard to help marshal that growth in orderly fashion. Concord and its future and its welfare really did mean a great deal to him; that was never a facade; his concern was for real. I'm sure there are many of us "old timers" who remember his conversations as he mulled over decisions as to what was good and what was not good for our community. He was never aloof in this matter as he collected opinions from the people he served... old and new.
His friendship too was real, and we treasured it. We also know this entire community owes him respect for his efforts.

We have wonderful memories of Leo from when Dan was in Mentor Top 25 and then all the many years the Top 25 sang for Concord Days. He would always greet us so warmly and then serve as the MC for the afternoon. It was always a pleasure to see him. He was quite a special guy!
