My condolences to Lynn and Russ on the passing of your son Ryan. It's very sad to hear about his addiction. Not being in your shoes am sure that this moment has been very difficult. You are a very strong women I ask GOD to give you strength in the middle of having to depart. May God bless you both.

As somoeone whose family has been touched by drug addiction, I so appreciated your honest and hearfelt message about your son Ryan you published in the News Herald. Our daughter, Michele, who is the mother of our first grandchild and a 10 year addiction survivor was once in your son's shoes. Thankfully our grand daughter and daughter are doing very well now but my heart goes out to those that suffer the disease of addiction. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Russ and Lynne, What beautiful sentiments and undying love to honor Ryan. It is distressing to read of another life taken by drugs. My heart goes out to you and the entire family. Your obituary for your son was beautiful. I didn't know Ryan but my son also died of a heroin overdose, 15 months ago. You were very brave ,and not ashamed of him, I can tell you love your son as much as I love mine.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My Brother, Ricky Rought, was at "Lake house" with Ryan in 2009/2010. My brother passed in May of 2010 after leaving Lake house. Prayers to you and your family and all of his friends. Gone to soon.

I am so truly sorry for your loss. It will be 1 year since I lost my son on Nov 22. Heroin took his life to after being clean for months. It is an emidemic in Lake county. All over ohio.
