Joanna M. Wayner, age 95, a homemaker, passed away March 20, 2017 at Concord Village Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
She was born November 3, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Julia (Machacz) Polczyk.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW 7754, the Altar & Rosary Society of St. Anthony’s and the Fairport Harbor Senior Center.
Joanna is survived by her sons, Don (Diane) Wayner, Robert Wayner and John “Buddy” Wayner; grand daughter, Heidi Wayner; great grandchildren, Daniel (Yocelyn), and Jennifer Ruvalcaba ; great-great-grandson, Jason Ruvalcaba; sister Helene Staley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wayner; parents; granddaughter, Laura Wayner; brother, Joe Polczyk.
Private funeral services were held at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery
